Does the oil come from the head/cylinder junction, or the cylinder head cover/head junction ? Look on this site for info on this subject.

I don't know what might be causing your problem, but have you checked the decompression gizmo to see if it's working OK ? Is the carb clean and adjusted right ? How's the air filter/filter chamber as to dirt and such ? Did this problem start suddenly or gradually ? You might also check the cam chain and valves etc.

I'd strongly recommend you buy the Suzuki factory manual. $50 but very good and complete for all years. The $30 Clymer manual is also good. I bought both and have no regrets doing it !!
